Your life insurance names a beneficiary. Your trust decides what happens next.

Without a plan, a payout can pass to a child who cannot legally manage it, or wait while a court decides. Together, the two make sure what you leave reaches the people you intended.

The process

Three unhurried steps

i.

A conversation

ii.

Your options, explained

iii.

Covered, and reviewed

Put your coverage in place, then review it together as your family and your life change.

Why it matters

Without a plan, someone else decides.

Who raises your children

A will lets you name the guardian you trust, so the choice is never left to a judge.

Who speaks for you

A healthcare directive and power of attorney name the person who decides if you cannot.

What becomes of your home

A trust can spare your family a long and costly probate process.

Questions, answered plainly

Do I need to be wealthy to need a trust?

No. If you have a home, savings or children, a plan decides who receives what and who is in charge, and can help your family avoid probate.

What is the difference between a will and a trust?

A will names who inherits and who raises your children, and usually passes through probate court. A trust can transfer assets directly to your family and can remain private.

What does it cost?

Life insurance quotes and consultations are complimentary. Estate planning pricing will be announced when the online platform opens, and healthcare directives and powers of attorney will be free.

Is this legal advice?

No. Heather is not an attorney. The estate planning service, coming soon, will give you access to an online platform with her guidance. For complex situations, she will recommend an estate planning attorney.

Can I update my plan later?

Yes. A marriage, a new baby, a new home: update your plan and beneficiaries whenever life changes.

The 60-second quiz
